As soon as you arrive in Luang Prabang, the ancient town of Laos, our tour guide and driver are waiting for you there. Check in your hotel, the rest of the day is your own free time at leisure.

Day 2: City Tour in Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves (B, L)
Today, the first place in our trip in Laos to visit the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Then, embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. Along the way to visit Pak Ou Caves, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, which is famous about rice wine or whiskey wine. Floating on the boat, look around the majestic scenery on both banks, it seems that time to go Pak Ou is faster. From far away, you can see the mouth of the cave. Inside the cave, you can see thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statue of various shapes and sizes left by the pilgrims in the past. Visit two main caves Tham Ting and Tham Thung is the best mysterious caves of Pak Ou with different shapes.
End your trip in Pak Ou, back to the town, you may visit Royal Palace Museum, which hosted a range of interesting artifacts, before ascending the 329 steps to the top of Phou Si Hill for a beautiful sunset view of the city and its glowing reflection on the Mekong River.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Waterfalls -Vientiane (B, L)
Enjoy early the last breakfast in Luang Prabang, go to the downtown, you have the fantastic opportunity to join in the daily morning ritual of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. It becomes the unique tradition in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. If you want to join in the ceremonies, please tell your tour guides which they can buy food for you to give the monks. Remember, dress suitably to make sure cover your legs, don't show your chest and shoulders of monks.
From there, you will visit the morning Phosi Market where you can see many locals products. If you have a passion for Laos handicrafts, today, you will visit the local village of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay and Ban Thapene. Then, drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest paths. On the way back to Luang Prabang, stop to visit the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park, sure that, your children will be interested in this experience.
End your day in Luang Prabang, and take a short flight to Vientiane.

Day 4: Vientiane City Tour - Ban Tha Ngon (B, L)
Welcome to the heart of Laos, Vientiane. Enjoy your Laos breakfast, and start to visit the major sights of the capital. The first site in Vientiane tour is Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Head off the That Luang Stupa, which is the symbol of Laos, you also have chance known about the story of its. Move on to the Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph, the local guide will introduce the story of it. Don’t forget to take some pictures to prove that you’re in Laos!
After that, transfer to Ban Tha Ngon, which is famous for a leisurely lunch cruise along the lazy Nam Ngum River. Get out of busy life, and enjoy your time with outdoor activities in Ban Tha Ngon.
Back to Vientiane to overnight.
Day 5: Vientiane Departure (B)
On the last day during 5 days in Laos family tour, today is free to stroll around the downtown area, go to the stores to find the silks souvenirs before transferring out to the airport for your flight.
