Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Luang Prabang - Phonsavan Arrival
Day 2: Phonsavan - Plains of Jars - Phonsavan
Day 3: Phonsavan - Vientiane Departure
Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival - Phonsavan (L)
Appointment with the guide then travels to Phonsavan. On the way, stop to visit the villages of ethnic minorities with unique cultures and customs. Lunch with local specialties in a local restaurant. Then transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Phonsavan - Plains of Jars - Phonsavan (B)
After breakfast, you hit the road to meet UXO Laos, an organization specialized in detecting and defusing bombs in the province. Local experts will explain their work and will introduce you to the detection methods used. Then, visit the three sites of the Plains of Jars. It is one of the most mysterious places in Laos.
These immense containers, which can weigh from 600 kg to one ton and however its origin remains unknown, are spread over three main sites: one near the city, two others further to the south of the district of Phasay and Mount Salato. The region was also deeply affected by many bombings during the war.

Day 3: Phonsavan - Vientiane Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will visit the Wet market (agricultural market), then temples and discover the Navang crafts. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Vientiane (daily flight, except Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). Tour ends.
